Flying B Roofing was founded by Wayne Bontrager, a North Dakota native, proud husband, and father of six. For Wayne, family always comes first, and that same spirit is built into everything we do. Whether it is offering flexible job schedules for our team or showing up for our neighbors, Flying B is about more than just roofing. Every year, Wayne donates a roof to a family in need right here in Minot, a tradition that reminds us why we do what we do.

The Bontrager family is a tight-knit, hardworking, and fun-loving crew where life is always an adventure. Wayne is dedicated to both his family and his work, setting an example of perseverance and dedication. Jen pours her heart into raising their energetic bunch, creating a home filled with love, laughter, and a little bit of chaos.

Their kids each bring their own unique spark to the family. Stetson (2018) is already proving to be a skilled builder, spending hours in his garage bay crafting tables, chairs, and even skid steers, just like his dad. Raelle (2019) has a flair for fashion and makeup, always adding a stylish touch to the household. Kashton (2020) is the fearless, outdoorsy one, constantly on the move and ready for the next adventure. Walker (2021) is Daddy’s little shadow, following Wayne’s every move and learning from him daily. Then there’s LuElla (2023), the tiny tornado who somehow manages to have everyone wrapped around her little finger, keeping the whole family on their toes. And finally, baby Ruger (2024), the smiley, giggly little guy who watches the lively chaos around him with pure joy, soaking up all the love and excitement of his big family.
